Once Season of the Haunted finishes, I will move those priority weapon guides to the list of older Destiny 2 guns. One for the current season and another for all the past seasons/expansions. (Author’s Note: I will be breaking down these rolls into two sections. Because of this, I also tend to highlight additional options for those looking to branch out from the tried and true “gun reloads faster, gun does more damage” combo. Keep in mind, while there are some objectively great rolls for weapons, a god roll comes down to your personal playstyle and what you want out of a weapon. I know some of you are sitting there about to furiously type counterpoints to some of my choices. To alleviate some of the headaches, I have compiled a growing list of guides that not only showcases what perks you want to go for but why these are some of the best choices around. Hunting these can down can be a grueling, confusing affair - especially if you are new to Destiny 2. This is what’s known as a “god roll,” or a weapon perk combination that is the best available for that gun. However, not all perks are created equal and some are simply superior in both PVE and PVP content. This means, you could obtain the same gun five times, but what attributes it has could be completely different. One of the most important aspects of Destiny 2 is legendary weapons which are firearms that can roll with different perk combinations. Tying this all together is a drive to obtain better and more powerful pieces of gear to craft your personal Guardian. Some like to battle it out in Crucible, others prefer to immerse themselves in the ever-changing story, while a few psychopaths continue to play Gambit. The Exotic Auto Rifle Hardlight is an excellent choice for every Light 3.0 build, and Monte Carlo is fantastic for Melee-based builds. When it comes to Destiny 2 there are a lot of ways to enjoy this game. But there are some other new perks I would hunt for. You see on a few different guns, definitely solid. That said, the ones we have now are all very nice to use that can still get the job done in most endgame content. IMO god roll would be heating up + rampage or tunnel vision + kill clip, and small bore instead of full bore. Chroma Rush - Pretty impressed My very first seasonal focused weapon engram from the HELM turned out to be a Chroma Rush that had subsistence and rampage on it with hammer forged rifling. Unfortunately, none that have been released in the last year have been stand out compared to other weapon types that have taken the meta by storm. Duty Bound (Kinetic) – Obtained from Nightfall Strikes.Īuto Rifles in PvE could use some help. Light gg does no show any god rolls, it only shows the most popular perks that people use on the weapon.Tommy’s Matchbook (Energy, Solar, Exotic) – Purchase from Exotic Kiosk.Scathelocke (Kinetic) – Random world pool drop.Seventh Seraph Carbine (Kinetic) – Complete Season of the Seraph activities.Reckless Oracle (Energy, Void) – Possible drop from completing encounters in the raid, Garden of Salvation. Kinetic) Chroma Rush (Auto Rifle, Kinetic) Cloudstrike (Exotic. Monte Carlo (Exotic, Kinetic) – Purchase from Exotic Kiosk. gg/weapons/destiny-2-dps-weapons/ hIDSERP,6252.
